Empowering Artisans in South Asia

TVR is committed to advancing the economic empowerment of women artisans in Pakistan by providing platforms to showcase and market their traditional handicrafts, including embroidered textiles, denim, shawls, and other artisan goods. Through this initiative, women from marginalized and underserved communities gain opportunities for sustainable livelihoods, fair wages, and skills development.

To strengthen this effort, Patposha LLC, a sister initiative of TVR, will serve as the commercial arm that promotes and markets these artisan-made products globally. Patposha bridges cultural heritage with contemporary fashion trends, creating new revenue streams and ensuring that the artistry of women artisans reaches wider audiences.

Proceeds from this collaboration not only uplift women and their families but also contribute to broader community development—supporting education, vocational training, and the empowerment of widows and vulnerable families. This program reflects TVR’s holistic vision of resilience: empowering women to become self-sufficient change-makers in their households and communities, while fostering global appreciation of their craft.
